There also used be a small Satanic cult worshipping Skitzo who sacrificed a man known only as David and carved the words "For Skitzo" into his chest. This theory is further supported by comments made by those who had viewed the shorts as they directly made reference to Skitzo himself. It is thought by some that Skitzo himself is, in fact, a demon who uses the shorts to manifest into the real world to murder its victims. Years later, scraps of the film reels were found and their contents were recorded and uploaded to the internet. Because of these incidents, all of the film reels that showed the cartoon were burned or otherwise hidden from the public. Those who viewed the shorts in their entirety would later die under violent circumstances similar to that of the cartoon or commit suicide. But as the shorts progressed they became gradually darker, always ending in Skitzo violently murdering the other characters. Skitzo the Bear was shown in many cinemas during the 1920s and featured Skitzo going on various misadventures. Skitzo is the titular protagonist of the Skitzo the Bear cartoon shorts.
